2006 – Vote to make the Township “wet”

It took only 120 years for the Township of Tudor and Cashel to be “wet”.

From newspaper articles on January 27, 2006 the information with regard to the vote is as follows:

In November of 2005 the decision to ask the question of the public with regard to allowing alcohol to be sold in the local restaurants, bars or taverns.

Township residents voted 63% in favour of permitting the sale of alcohol.
